Automation Engineer – Pharmaceutical Manufacturing (PLC / HMI / SCADA)

We’re looking for a driven professional with a solid background in PLC programming and automation design to help engineer sophisticated solutions for pharmaceutical production lines — from concept to commissioning.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll join an experienced, tight-knit automation team where your expertise will support the full lifecycle of high-end machinery projects, including:
• Designing and developing PLC software (Siemens TIA and/or Rockwell)
• Configuring HMI and SCADA systems for pharma-grade equipment
• Collaborating on project phases from early concept through FAT/SAT and final delivery
• Supporting complex automation systems for global pharma and medtech clients
• Contributing to ongoing standardization, documentation, and tech innovation
What You Bring
• 3+ years’ experience in automation engineering or PLC programming
• Hands-on experience with Siemens TIA Portal and/or Rockwell Automation
• Familiar with HMI/SCADA design, ideally in a pharma or medtech context
• Background in Automation Technology, Engineering, Industrial Electrics, or similar
• Passion for automation and continuous learning
• Bonus if you’ve worked with PackML
• Fluent in English and Danish, both written and spoken
• Willing to travel internationally for project phases (~10–30 days/year)
