Freelance Service Engineer – Ballast Water Treatment Systems (BWTS)

We’re looking for a driven professional with a solid background in comissioing and service onboard to help engineer maintain our clients operating equipment and automation solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Providing trouble shooting support

• Commissioning, servicing, and repairing Ballast Water systems onboard vessels

• Supporting customers directly and acting as the client’s technical engineer

• Collaborating with internal teams to improve service and product quality

• Ensuring top-level safety and customer satisfaction

What You Bring

• EU national due to VISA requirements.

• Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field

• Strong interest or experience in marine/environmental technology

• Able to read, interpret, and work with control/electrical schematics

• Familiarity with PLC programming, automation, or marine electrical systems is a plus

• Fluent in English

• Motivated, hands-on, and customer-focused
